Splattered Against A Brick Wall Underneath Earth, Overneath Hell

(Improvised Story)

As he swept through the night
Sweeping with his broom
Going back and forth
Back and forth
Back
And...
Forth

He saw a light
Coming from his window
He looked out
This man was about 4 feet, no, 4 stories high
He looked out and the light came closer, closer
The man thought to himself "What is this light?
What is this thing coming towards me?
Then the light vanished, vanished into total darkness

The man thought to himself "What is going on?"
So he grabbed his slippers
Slipped them on
Walked down the stairs
But he could only get to the second floor

He placed one foot on the stair leading to the first floor
And the very moment he did
Out came a scream, shriek of some sort
It wasn't like some sort of "Ooh I'm scared" type of scream at a movie theater, oh no. For it was much, much worse.

The shriek was a demonic cry for help. But the way this man interpreted it, he didn’t take it as a cry for help. Instead, he ran back up the stairs, and he kept running, running, r running, and kept on running up the stairs. But when he tried to get back in his apartment, the door was locked, and he did not have his key. The demon was following him, so his only option was to keep going up, up to where there was no demons, but the sad part is the demon was catching up to him ever so quickly. There was no escape!

This man got up to the very final floor, very tip top of the building. Not to the point where there was like more apartments, no no no. To the very tippy top, the above. And the demon caught up with him.

The demon screamed once more. “Sir, help me. Help me. HELP ME! help me.”

And the man turned to the demon, “What do you want from me?”

And the demon turned around, “I don’t know, young sir, I just don’t know.”

But at that moment, the demon had gotten this man’s guard down, devoured his soul that instant, and threw him above the balcony, over the ledge, falling down, down, down through the building. But the corpse never hit the ground. He got hung. He got hung on, like, the thing in the stairway. No. He got hung. And his body slammed into the brick wall, blood smearing everywhere. Even the blood didn't touch the ground. From where this man fell, and when he got caught, when his corpse got slammed into the wall, it was still too high up for even the largest amount of blood to drip to the very bottom. It got close to the second or first floor, and then it dried, stained! And then his corpse just dangled there for a week or so.

And no one, could ever find… No one could ever find the body of the man! No one! Not even the police, not even his own mother, not even his boyfriend. A week passed. No one even bothered to look for him. No one bothered to look for the poor young man. His body just lay there, skin was starting to peel, and rot, and fall apart. You would think someone would’ve caught him. But no. For he had traveled to the unknown, and his corpse was stuck there. To us, it seems like a normal pretty day. Just with one less man. But to the underworld, the below, his corpse lay dangling there, dangling for all eternity. For all the demons to see.

——————

Satan’s coming. Satan will not be coming in the form of a demon. He will be coming as a figment of our imagination, just like he really is. Sorry to break it to ya. But your little imaginary friend, just like this story, does not exist.

I… killed him. I killed him. I killed Satan! And I ground him up, fed him… fed him to the churches like chili. And that is how Halloween started.

They used to say the guitar was the instrument of the devil. And for the longest time, I laughed. I laughed at that theory. Now I know where it came from.

Happy Halloween Guys!
