I dyed my hair today
It didn't go so well
My hair felt like a mousse on steroids
And the blue didn't stay
I hated that my first dye job didn't go so well
But if you think about it
What would you have expected?
Nothing ever seems to go my way.

Everything hurts
Pain is evolution
Success is demolition
They say "no pain, no gain"
Hurt is temporary
Life is permanent
Life is suffering
Hurt is not suffering
It is only an output of suffering
Are we even real?
Or is that just what the government wants us to think?
Just like vaccines cause autism,
Or that birds are real
Is this thing still on?
Check check, okay good, cause I got more to say
We live in a society where saving lives is a crime
Giving water to refugees is a felony.
Yet signing up to kill other people is okay because it's documented.
"Make America Great Again"
When was it ever great in the first place?
I guess some people never learn
Wasn't it Jesus who said to love thy neighbor?
To feed the hungry, give water to the thirsty?
You worship this dude, yet you don't listen to a word he says
I guess that's typical for you Baptists.
Hurt is temporary
Life is permanent
Life is suffering
Hurt is not suffering
It is only an output of suffering
Everything hurts
Pain is evolution
Success is demolition
They say "no pain, no gain"

Slavery still exists
It's just not what it used to be
Everything's different now
But there's still slavery to the wage
Like sharecropping,
"Legal slavery"
We see these people at Walmart, McDonald's, any type of food service
People working their asses off,
For a mere $7.25 an hour
That can't pay bills
Or feed a family
Too much poverty
Not enough wealth
At least we're getting paid,
And we're not forced to be at these particular jobs
But we shouldn't settle for a roach infested apartment
Eating Ramen noodles for dinner every night either
We shouldn't have to settle for life, just because it's better than how slavery was 200 years ago.
It wasn't as brutal or as oppressive
But that doesn't mean the problem's gone.
When will America be the land of the free instead of the land of the governed?
When will the police be policed?
When will everyone be guaranteed a pursuit of happiness?
When will everyone be granted liberty?
When?
We shouldn't have to settle for life, just because it's better than how slavery was 200 years ago.

Silence is a deafening shriek
Chaos is true serenity
There is no life, no death, no god, and no money
We materialize these things,
But they have the same worth as gravel.

I'm not necessarily "atheist" exactly, like yes, I don't believe in God, but I'm not so certain with that, you know? Like, I've never seen god, nor have I received any signs suggesting he exists, I've only seen folklore, or the "Bible" as believers refer to it. But I'm only as certain as anyone else. There is no way to know whether god exists or not, similarly whether we exist or not. We have no way of telling whether we're a part of our own imaginations or if this is real life. We haven't experienced death before, not in the first person sense where it is permanent, the closest being dead for a couple hours and brought back, but even then, people have different stories there. There's nothing certain. All we know is that in our lives, we are born, and that's it. We can say that there's death at the end of the tunnel, and it may be true for most people, but how will we know if we live forever or not? Just because everyone else dies, we would assume that we die too, right? Makes perfect sense, except for one thing, we haven't experienced death, and we don't know when we'll die, or even if we'll die. What if a handful of us are demigods sent from wherever the hell to live an immortal life and not be aware of it?

Sincerity is a crime!
Love is dead!
We don't have long
Humanity is dying
It'll all be over soon
But is it soon enough?
Nothing is soon enough
The universe goes by way too slow for our puny lives
Only living 100 years, 100 revolutions,
That's if we're lucky
At least that's what they say to us.
I don't find myself fortunate!
What's the difference between an old person and a baby?
A baby hasn't become desensitized yet!
That's what happened with all of us!
We don't even cry at mass shootings anymore.
We don't cry at tragedies.
We don't cry at funerals!
No one's gonna cry on the very day you die
Because we've seen it a million times
Everyone is dying all around us.
We've become numb to the pain.
We've become apathetic
We've accepted our fate that's going to happen eventually
One day
No more
In 130 years, if we're still alive at that point,
All 7.5 Billion of us will have been dead and gone
Replaced by new humans
Every single one of us
That's just how it goes, ain't it?
Death is inevitable
Life is questionable
Birth is rare
I'm not talking about the possibility of your dad fucking your mom raw
I'm talking about how we came to be, the universe as it is.
The right amount of particles had to be set in place to collapse with each other to make all of this happen.
We are a mistake
Evolution just made that mistake much worse.
Who knows how long we have left?
I'm not talking about "us", I'm talking about humanity as a whole.
We don't have long.
With the way things keep going,
With the way things keep on going right now,
It looks like that day is coming sooner than we thought.
Closer and closer
And it's all our fault
Rich people could help us
But they won't.
If we're lucky,
Maybe we could steal one of their lifeboats when this planet explodes.
The only solution is to kill the rich
Harvest their assets
Sell their limbs on the black net
And use all that money towards helping saving the earth
Before it dies on us
But that idea is a little too farfetched
For this generation
That's why it's not gonna happen
And that's why we're all gonna die
Cause we're too scared
We're too scared of consequences
We're too scared of consequences and that's what's the matter with us.
We worry too much about our own interests
That we haven't had the chance to focus on what is really going on.
What really matters
We're too self absorbed
Like sponges
Because of you
This is all y(our) fault
"You" meaning all of us.
All of humanity,
We let this happen
We elected our government in
And look how they played with us
Are you ready to admit defeat?
Is that what you're gonna do?
Just cry in the corner like a pussilanimous son of a bitch?
Or are you gonna stand up for yourself
Stand up against all these bullies
These demagogues
And fight for what you really believe in?
Saving the Earth?
A lot of hippies have talked about saving the earth for quite a long time now
And we never took them seriously
Not until recently
When we saw the damage for ourselves
We always thought that "Earth Day" was some sort of inside joke
And never realized that it actually meant something
We forgot where we lived
We forgot our own home
We only have one home
And if we ruin it,
That's game over.
So what are you gonna do about it?
Help me spread awareness?
So that the people with money could actually do it.
Or you could just sit on your ass
And not do a goddamn thing about it
And just let it happen.
It's your choice
Make the right choice
You're all we got left
